Can I stay calm at earthquake?

Why I am wondering ? 2 earthquakes in Israel in one week, isn’t enough? at low scale indeed, (only 4.2 r/s), but the media didn’t stop buzzing and reporting all around.

A long time that experts and specialists report and prophet a destructive earthquake in Israel. It’s well known fact that the Israeli Government “screw-up” in this domain too.

Than, I thought to myself, what’s the most powerful product? Steel, it is fundamental, every child knows it.

I checked on Internet for “steel structure/building/profiles”, and

“cluck" , I found it.

Here, in Israel in Kibutz Machanaim, founded in 1970, there is a factory of steel profiles for construction and industry domain , a subsidiary company of “Diuk Energy”, which is the leading factory in the world for manufacture and distribution of ready -made light steel structures for mounting, with the highest ISO 9002-2002 standard at bargain prices.

Funny, but they called themselves “Diuk Arches”, which in Hebrew means “Precision Arches”, in this case, their name is synonym to accuracy for quality of their products, time table, services, guarantee, all those things that distinguish a perfect product from only a good one.

Lot of papers on the web like: Ynet of 8^th Nov. 2007, Haifa News of 6^th Sept. 2007, Krayot of February 2007, Net-Net, Globs , etc ,

reported on their economic columns about the sensational success and prosperity of “Diuk Keshatot”, especially about an increase of 40% at the beginning of 2007 of about 10 million shekels in compare to the previous year ,said Mr. Iossi Sheiker - General Manager of “Diuk Keshatot” . It is a result from deals signed with The Spanish Ministry of Defense for supplying of hangars to the Spanish Army of $ 6.5 million , deal of

2 million shekel with The Education Ministry of Turkey – for walling the basketball schools in Istambul, another 3 million shekels deal in Turkey with a Cosmetics company.

The meaningful amount of $ 20 ,000,000 for the coming 3 years was accomplished by winning on several bids .Grand deals was signed with: Angola, Cameron, Ethiopia, South Africa and Ivory Coast. For the above mentioned countries, “Diuk Keshatot” will supply ready made steel structure for military camps, sheds for armored cars, dispensaries and other commercial & industrial structures. The preliminary deal of

$ 5 million was already signed.

Mr. Jossi Sheiker, General Manager of Diuk Keshatot, said :

“Due to our grand success in Europe, we are glad to see that our forecast about Africa flourishing. We realized, there is a vast need in Africa for our ready made structures of 500-800 m”r that we do in one day .”
